Welcome to Penn Elementary PTO! If you have a student who attends Penn or are staff at Penn, you are a member.

Mission

The mission of the Penn Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is to facilitate and support the education, safety, and enrichment of our students. The PTO is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and staff who work together to support our school community.

Activities

We are a volunteer organization that supports fundraising throughout our school year so that we can, in turn, provide funding for in-school needs such as  field trips, classroom supplies, family fun nights, teacher appreciation efforts, and more!

We also plan special events throughout the school year such as Family Swim Night, Fun Night (games, silent auction, bounce houses and more), and Science Night. We have also sponsored before, during, or after school special interest clubs when we have a volunteer step forward to lead and organize.

PTO Meetings

PTO meetings are held the first Thursday of each month in the Penn Elementary Library or on Zoom from 7 - 8 PM.

 

Community Meetings

Every other month we’ll have a “community meeting“ at 6:30 PM. A community meeting features an optional meal and social time for families; following that, there will be a session for parents on a specific topic, while kids can engage in a fun activity (complete with supervision)!
